When you get two *uber* creative people together and have them plan a wedding, it's bound to be gorgeous!

Michelle + Matt are witty, smart and so much fun to be around! These two met while working at The Onion together and each of their quick wits immediately won the other over. I just knew that the vows at their Chicago Winery wedding were going to be top tier and I wasn't wrong. I always love hearing the vows my couples write to each other, but these two really kicked it up a notch. The room was filled with comedians, Hollywood writers and all of their family and friends that have all had the honor of witnessing their love story unfold. Their wedding day was the perfect culmination of each step in their journey.

Speaking of each step, these two had the most creative escort display I've seen in a long time! They had literal snippets of their love story pinned to the display alongside table assignments. Pieces of their journey; like photo booth film strips, buttons from vacations and ticket stubs. There were lists of Covid memories, wristbands from festivals and photos of their beloved cats (maybe not Pretzel, idk). 

I loved every single detail of this wedding day. If you watch my IG stories, THIS is the wedding that reminded you all of Harry Potter with the hanging candle installation. Nothing went forgotten and it never will with this gallery.
