This one. This one I cried at. There is so much history to this wedding that we have to start at the very top; 2014. 

I met Garett when he was my personal trainer way back in 2014. (It's crazy to me that it was 11 years ago.) We quickly became friends and when I stopped working with him, we kept in touch here and there; just checking in with each other. 

A few years later, Gracie entered his life and I could immediately tell he was head over heels for this girl. You could just see it; he was going to marry her. Gracie was wrapping up her schooling at Julliard, so Garett waited patiently, but secretly bought a ring. 

In 2020, Gracie had an accident that resulted in a brain injury. Through all of her recovery; big and small steps, Garett was there. He never once doubted Gracie's ability to recover. Every time I would check in with him for updates, he was optimistic and more in love with Gracie than the day before. Over the years, Gracie has made immense strides in recovery and she walked down that aisle with her dad straight to Garett!

Their ceremony ended with a 2 minute standing ovation from the crowd of family, friends, and Gracie's biggest supporters including her therapists and doctors. There was not a dry eye in the house! From there, we headed to their venue, Fisherman's Inn, where we grabbed their portraits and rolled right into the biggest party celebrating the love that these two share. 

It was truly an amazing evening that these two have been waiting a LONG time for!
