Quintessential summer engagement session? YES PLEASE!
I'm obsessed. There is something so spectacular when you have the most perfect summer engagement session! Golden sun. Beautiful wildflowers, a stunning golden hour and oh yea, a pupper! Janae and Sam are tying the knot next fall (2022) so we grabbed some photos for them to start doing save the dates!
We started at one of my favorite little secret spots in St. Charles; Delnor Woods! This space is hidden behind a little drive and a small sign that tells you you're there. Monty, the couple's pup, joined us for the first half of the shoot and omg was he a hoot! Sam popped the question to Janae by having a custom tag made for Monty that said "will you marry me?" So of course, Monty was essential for the session!
We moved to the riverfront downtown to grab some more photos during sunset. These two are getting married at The Brix along this very river, so it was kind of perfect!
I'm so in love with this session and will be showing it off a lot! Congratulations to Janae and Sam! I cannot wait to witness and capture your big day!
