Fairytales are real!
I'm still in awe over how magical Amy and Jacob's wedding day was! These two have been together since they were 17. That said, this day was long awaited. They were the first couple to book me for 2021 and I had been waiting for their wedding to arrive!
We spent the entire day at the Intercontinental Chicago! IT IS STUNNING! I had photographed here before for bridal prep, but never got to spend the entire day there for ceremony and reception! Turns out, Amy was getting ready in the Presidential Suite. Guys. This suite was larger than my last home!! It was stunning! Full of natural light, space and beautiful photo spaces! So now, I'm telling everyone to go there, LOL!
Amy & Jacob reserved the rooftop of the hotel for their first look, so we headed up there to iron out their nerves! Once they saw each other, we grabbed the rest of their wedding party and walked across the street to the Wrigley Building to grab all those epic Chicago formals.
It was a SUPER busy day in Chicago for weddings, but we managed to get every image we wanted and boy were we spoiled with gorgeous weather! I'm in love with their formals; they are so magical!
Speaking of just that, we headed back for their ceremony and reception which were held around a stunning stained glass art piece. The vibes of this space were very "Beauty and the Beast!" It was such a romantic, dark lit space that served as the perfect room for their 70 guests to party the night away!
I had the best time capturing all the mems for these two! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Clubb (finally!)
