The sweetest wedding day for the sweetest couple!
Where to begin with Kathleen & Joey?! These two are my very last Covid-19 reschedule! They were originally supposed to be married summer 2021 but when Delta surged over the summer, they decided to play it safe and push it to September of 2022.
Boy was it worth the wait! Every chapter of this day was picture perfect! They opted to have a small wedding party with just their maid of honor and best man at their side. With such a small party, we were able to have ample time to get Mr. and Mrs. portraits!
A few things that I just love about this gallery:
1. Kathleen got ready in her childhood home. It was such a beautiful home full of character and capturing her getting ready within those walls was just so cool.
2. Kathleen wanted to make sure that her late mom was with her every step of the day, so she had a piece of her mom's wedding dress made into her clutch. It was such a touching piece for her to carry on her shoulder.
3. The daddy/daughter dance! Kathleen and her dad choreographed a stand out dance number that served as the opening to their dance floor! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I actually cried. Which, is normal for me during daddy/daughter, but this dance wasn't one that you would initially think would make someone cry. It was just so sweet to see their relationship and it's obvious that Kathleen looks up to her dad immensely.
I could go on and on, but I know that the photos from this day truly capture the essence of it all. Congratulations you two!
