You couldn't have ordered better weather out of a catalog for these two!
Oh these two have my heart! Kate & Derrick booked me 5 months ago after a negative photography experience and I'm SO HAPPY I was still open for their day because these two are the sweetest!
Kate and Derrick met while working at Lou Malnati's and Derrick wasn't quite picking up the hints that Kate was dropping. Eventually, he got clued in and the rest is history! Their love and care for each other is so obvious when you're with them. Their family and friends gushing over their love at the reception was so prominent, it was hard not to get giddy over their day!
We spent the day at JW Marriott Chicago and the weather gods were shining down on them because on April 15, it was 80 degrees! Tulips were in bloom, the sun was shining and we actually started sweating during portraits at the Wrigley Building! While there, these two were serenaded by a local musician and they had a soundtrack to their portraits.
I'm kind of obsessed with Kate and Derrick and the day that they put on. It was beautiful at every turn and I'm so so excited to share off their sneak peek!
