epitome of chicago spring weather at the farmhouse in plainfield

When your vision for an outdoor ceremony is stronger than any Chicago weather...
I was so freaking excited for Jeanne and Adam's big day! I got to know these two deeper since they are the second in their friend group to hire me! Jeanne was the MOH for a 2022 bride of mine (Hello Mel!) and it just so happened that on Mel's wedding day, it was the 6 month mark to Jeanne and Adam's day!

Six months later and the day had arrived! In true Chicago fashion, we saw sun, snow, rain and hail. Jeanne was so dead set on having an outdoor ceremony, that we crossed our fingers and hoped that the 2 minute hail storms that were frequenting the day would hold off for their 15 minute ceremony. Spoiler alert; it did!

Jeanne and Adam, along with their wedding party, were so amazing at taking the weather in stride and just soaked up what it was. In turn, we got the best shots of them embracing the hail! Truly a wedding moment I'll never forget in my career!

This was such a perfect wedding day and I just know the memories made are imprinted on everyone who was there. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lorenc.
