mr. and mrs. gudella

Ok guys. This wedding is SO close to the wedding that I am currently planning for Tim and I, so it has a special spot in my heart. The gorgeous tent in Laura's parent's home, the mix and match vintage vases for the tables and the insanely awesome attention to detail makes this wedding SO. GOOD! It was sort of like a photographer's dream to photograph! Laura and Tom's love for each other out shined the stormy skies that we saw in the evening. As much as Laura was hoping for no rain, it brought with it a nice cool breeze on what was one of the hottest nights of the year! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gudella!

Amanda and Jovag are married! On July 15th, their family and friends surrounded them with so much love! There are so many little things about this wedding that made it one grand event. Everything from the fun bridal party sunglasses, their little boy witnessing it all, to the end of the night when they had an epic balloon dance floor party! You know those weddings you get invited to and you walk away and just feel happy; you can't strop smiling because it was literally so much fun and you got to witness something so beautiful? Yup. That was this wedding. Congratulations you two!

anthony & dana: e-session

One of my city couples for 2016! Anthony is the brother of a life-long client of mine and when he got engaged, I was scooped up right away for their wedding! Dana recently moved to Chicago to live with Anthony from California. When they told me that wanted Museum Campus downtown to be their backdrop for their e-session, I was SO excited for a lake view! These two are getting married THIS MONTH downtown Chicago in an art gallery. I mean. I'm in! Congratulations you two and I can't wait to photograph your big day soon!

I don't even know where to begin with how much fun this wedding was. I love it when couples just do their own thing. Cassie and Clay did this wedding their way; in every sense of it. From the CHURRO, yes I said CHURRO, wedding cake to the canoe cooler and the BBQ sliders, this wedding was hands down a winner in my book! Cassie and Clay did not have a wedding party, making the ceremony and photos that much more special to spend with their close family and friends. I'm a sucker for tiny details, so the fact that the table floral boxes were made by the groom and every guest snapped a polaroid for the couple to keep; I about can't breathe when editing these pictures. I'm serious when I say that my jaw hurts from editing this wedding; constant smiles :) Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs!
