Fairytales do come true!

ale & pat: e-session

You know those people that whenever you're around them, you just naturally have such a good time and feel so high? Insert these two!

allie & adam: e-session

The weekend I photographed these two was full of 2019 sessions and I walked away Sunday night feeling so excited because all of my 2019 couples legit feel like my friends. These two, especially!

julieanne & addy: e-session

It's always been on my bucket list to photograph at the Chicago Botanical Gardens and Addy & Julieanne made that come true for me (thank you guys!)

lindsay & phil: couples session + pupper

As you know, if you frequent the blog, I love to become friends with my couples. This means, even after your wedding, we still talk. YUP! We become FB friends, I get invited to your Halloween parties and if I'm lucky, I get to photograph you again! That's exactly what happened with Lindsay and Phil! They were married last July 2017 (if you remember that epic yacht wedding on Lake Michigan; that was them!) Anywhooooo. They got themselves a dog named FN (Finn like from Star Wars) and if you follow me at all, you know I squeal around dogs and love! So when they reached out to me for a "family" session (which by the way I don't photograph families, only couples) I obliged. I do very well with fur children. Human children, not so much.

FN didn't really warm up to the camera, but he warmed up to ME so we we're all good. It was like as soon as the camera came out, he gave the cutest little pout you've ever seen! But that's ok because it made for some great laughs and moments captured. We had a ball soaking up the fall colors and observing FN, the city boy, experience the forest preserve!

So to all of my former couples, call me with your dawgs. I want to see you again!

Obsessed doesn't even cut it, folks! Carolanne & Matt are one of the most fun couples ever! I knew when we photographed their engagement session last fall that their wedding day would be loads of fun and laughs. So, here we are! Their wedding last Saturday was held at the Haley Mansion in Joliet (was dying to shoot there for forever!) and it did not disappoint! Carolanne was surprised twice before she even made it to the church! Matt had sent her two bouquets of red roses with cute notes in them to her home where she was getting ready. Then, her parents arranged for a vintage black car to take her to the church: a total surprise! Matt's EPIC reaction to seeing Carolanne at church (see below) was authentic as ever because they did not have a first look. After the vows and rings were exchanged we all headed to the venue for formals. The reception was full of touches all related to the couple from photographic timelines of their relationship, to Star Wars hints throughout the decor! Everything was 100% them!

I love these two like I've known them forever! Tim and I clicked immediately with them and we are so honored to have photographed this day! Enjoy your sneak peek you two :)
