watercolor brunch: a styled shoot

Spring is finally here and this shoot brings the colors of spring to life!

I've really been doing a lot of styled shoots this off season and honestly, I've been loving it! Styled shoots allow me to try new poses, play around with styling, and showcase aesthetics that I don't get the chance to photograph at real weddings at times. They are truly a lot of fun and also allow me to expand my network of vendors so that in turn, I have more referrals to provide my couples with.

This shoot came to me through Sandra of Iris Weddings. I walked into this shoot knowing very little, only that it was a watercolor brunch. That was enough for me to say yes. I've always loved the watercolor look for weddings so being able to photograph that was exciting for me.

This entire team killed it. The florals were so dainty and beautiful, the dresses served the aesthetic perfectly, the stationary and paper was EPIC with the watercolor and calligraphy and the look of the models from hair to makeup was effortless. The amazing team that put this shoot together is below.

Be sure to check them out because they are excellent at what they do!
