introducing: industria

There's a new venue in town!

It's one thing to conceptualize a styled shoot and bring it to fruition on your own time. But when a brand new venue approaches you and asks you to host a styled shoot in their new space for their promotional usage, it's kinda a big deal!

The Industria is a brand new venue space that is the sister venue to The Brix on Fox in Carpentersville. The new space is connected to The Brix and hosts a similar vibe in terms of aesthetics. Brick walls, tons of windows and architectural statement pieces. The owners of both spaces approached me to be the first photographer in the space! I have worked with them before at The Brix and their daughter is one of my 2020 brides! So of course I jumped on the opportunity to photograph!

When it was time to conceptualize this shoot, the main point that was made was that they wanted it to be universal in terms of seasons and time of year. The style had to speak to brides of any season. Obviously, neutrals are an easy answer. But I was kind of over the basic blushes and cremes; I wanted to try a different kind of neutral.

Enter GRAY. I've always loved the way gray photographed, it's romantic, light and can look expensive! Favorite things ;) We put together an amazingly talented and creative vendor team and it came to life! This shoot is just magical! I love the touches everyone included in their pieces and it just makes for one goal-worthy wedding!
