They don't call it the Windy City for nothin'!
WHEW! This session challenged Erin and Chris in terms of, "how much wind can you handle?!" Barley too!
This shoot almost didn't happen this day. It was calling for rain all day and cold temps. The radar showed it would be clear by golden hour, so we went for it! Now, looking at these photos, you would have no idea that the wind was around 35MPH (totally guessing, but could be more), the sand was blowing into our eyes and the temps were *crisp.*
Erin and Chris showed no hesitation in showing their love for each other despite Mother Nature. They brought along their one year old pup, Barley, named for their love of beer and breweries! It is so obvious to anyone around them they were made for each other! It was so natural for them to do everything I prompted and they just were so comfortable in each other's arms!
I cannot wait for their winter wedding in 2022. Until then, they are going to enjoy a year away in Cali! JEALOUS!
