The rose gold touches mixed with the fall colors; the Johnson's threw the quintessential fall wedding!

OMG! This wedding was beautiful! I've known Katie since way back in college when we co-chaired Bradley University's Relay for Life club! I'm talking 11+ years ago! When Adam popped the question and Katie said yes, I almost immediately got a DM from her!

I was so so excited to capture this day! There is something so cool about photographing the wedding of someone you have history with and you know. It makes it a smidge more special because I've gotten to witness part of her journey.

These two tied the knot at The Brix (a classic on this blog) and Katie REALLLLY wanted the fall colors to hold on for their portraits. The famous tree was barely holding onto its leaves, so I took these two to my favorite little spot across the river where, for whatever reason, these trees seem to hold onto their color longer than their peers.

The COLORS! I could've photographed these two for hours in this spot. They got so lucky with the light, the weather, the colors and just every element that they brought together! It was a beautiful day on so many levels.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Johnson!
