Luck was on their side!
Mike & Kelcy are getting married next August in Rockford, so when it came time to book their engagement session, they figured it just made sense to try and get some fall color shots in time to make their save the dates.
Well, their timing is impeccable. They grabbed a Tuesday evening on my calendar and little did they know that Olive Park was at peak fall colors, the weather was warm and a massive cold front was on its way!
There are often couples that I just click with right away on their consult (tbh, it's all of my couples). Mike and Kelcy were no exception. We immediately clicked and it was love at first hello! I'm so so honored to be photographing their wedding next year!
We had the best time grabbing that show-stopping view at Olive Park before heading over to the riverwalk to grab some shots on the now famous stairs in my portfolio, lol! These two live on State St. so they wanted to try and capture some shots on their street and even over there, the colors were poppin!
