Micro-Wedding Magic!

WOW! I'm still dreaming about this gorgeous micro-wedding held in the backyard of the Bride's parents home.

I got brought onto this day about a month prior. Amy, of Rustique Swan, was designing and coordinating this day for Jenna and Jason and she was entrusted to put together the vendor team. Amy knows how to put together not only a stunning wedding, but a super talented vendor team as well!

With only parents and siblings present, Jason and Jenna were married under the ivy covered pergola in the backyard. Because it was the end of November, outdoor heaters were supplied and it felt like a July day! Seriously, some of us were sweating, LOL! Due to COVID, their grandparents zoomed into the day and Jenna's grandfather actually married them virtually! It was amazing to see how resilient couples have become and taken this year in stride.

After the most intimate ceremony, I snuck Jason and Jenna away deeper into the backyard for some formal photos of just the two of them. We then had their families join and had a blast doing some standard photos, but then some "Schitt's Creek" style poses as well. Before I headed out, I was able to capture the GORGEOUS table that was set for their dinner. Chef by Request prepared their meal for them and it was truly the most perfect day for this couple!

To reiterate how amazing micro-weddings can be, I want to point out that this entire wedding coverage was only three hours of photography. Small does not have to mean simple and dreams sacrificed. Jenna and Jason's day is the perfect model for how stunning intimate celebrations can be!

Congratulations you two!
