The sweetest wedding in Michigan! 
Kristin & Jim had the prettiest wedding! We drove up to Michigan, just outside of Detroit, and having a change of scenery was so nice. I love exploring new areas and kind of challenging myself with scoping out locations.
I started my day at Kristin's childhood home where I was promptly greeted by Ellie, the dog. Ellie was so nervous to meet me, but she so desperately wanted to be a good host. The morning was calm; a tell tale sign about the kind of wedding day it was about to be. Not a single hiccup! Ellie helped her big sister get dressed in the family's formal room and we were off to get these two married!
It was such a beautiful day all day, but of course, the minute we stood outside for formal photos at the venue, the skies turned dark. I was racing to beat the "impending storm" but as it turned out, it didn't rain until AFTER we left for the night. Go figure. Either way, we snapped some beautiful portraits with all of the freshly bloomed trees around the venue.
Everything about Kristin and Jim's day was perfect. They know how to throw a party! I had the best time capturing their love and their family baking in it as well. Congratulations you two!
