When you're from Texas and Chicago is now home, you show off Chicago in your engagement session!
Katie & Danny are newer to Chicago! They met back at work Texas, where they are both from, but when school brought Danny to Michigan, they entered a period of long distance. To make matter worse, this was RIGHT over Covid, so traveling was risky, but cheap (hello frequent visits together!)
After more than a year of long distance, they landed in Chicago together. It is now home for these two and they have no plans on leaving! They told me that the seasons are something they love experiencing and escaping that Texas heat is bliss. Now, they're planning their Chicago wedding to show off their city to all of their family and friends!
We made sure to capture Chicago in all of it's glory for their engagement session! We had THE best late summer evening right after a rain storm, so the colors were POPPIN'! I mean, that sky was serving a gorgeous lavender haze 😏😏
